    Classical period ,ancient Greece (ca. 475-325 B.C.) In the museum's collection is a coin
    bearing the profile of the god Apollo, his head is crown with a laurel leaf minted during the reign of
    Phillip II,Alexander the Great and their successors.These earrings are a copy of that coin.
    24 k matte-gold over sterling, antiqued.  Coins are 4/5" Diam.
