A 5:1 gear ratio enables this walk-behind Lesco spreader to evenly distribute materials, while its enclosed gear set protects the gears from contamination from dust and debris. A cam-operated oscillating agitator improves product flow and minimizes damage the product coating.
The oversized, 13 x 5.00-6 pneumatic tires with no-rust rims increase stability and provide a much easier application on taller, thicker lawns. Adjustable handles, which can be mounted in three different positions, allow for ease of use and accommodate to users of all sizes.
A manual deflector kit is included with this Lesco 101186 High Wheel Fertilizer Spreader. The deflector kit prevents product from being applied on the right side of the spreader by deflecting it, keeping material in the areas you want it to. Also included is a hopper cover that will protect the material in the hopper from being affected by rain and snow, as well as protecting the user from exposure to fertilizer dust that may exit the hopper while in use.
