In 1946, Clarence Leonidas Leo Fender started a company in Fullerton, California, to produce stringed instruments, amplifiers, and public address equipment. Some 75 years later, the company he started still bears his last name and is known worldwide as perhaps the finest producer of acoustic and electric guitars. In a new series of guitar-shaped
1 oz silver
coins, PAMP Suisse celebrates the legacy of two of Fenders greatest guitar designs. Now, the first release is available in the form of the 2021 1 oz Solomon Islands Silver Fender Guitar Stratocaster Shaped Coin for you to purchase online from JM Bullion.

The new Fender Guitar Series is the first-ever release of silver bullion coins featuring the exact shape and details of Fender guitars. The series will feature just two releases, but will focus on the two most iconic guitars Fender has ever produced: the Stratocaster and Telecaster. Both coins are released as part of a limited-issue series marking the 75
th
anniversary of the founding of Fender.
The Fender Stratocaster is nearly as old as the company itself. It is an electric guitar that was designed by Leo Fender, Bill Carson, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares between 1952 and 1954. Since 1954, the Stratocaster has remained in constant production at Fender, with countless variations created over the course of the past 67 years.
For the obverse design field of the 2021 1 oz Solomon Islands Silver Fender Guitar Stratocaster Shaped Coin, PAMP Suisse offers a colorized finish to the shape of the Stratocaster. The colorization helps capture the typical details and colorized elements of a real Fender Stratocaster guitar. In particular, you will notice a black outer field with a white central field. The Fender logo and celebratory 75 are marked in the lower-left.
In the reverse design element of 2021 Solomon Islands Silver Fender Guitar Stratocaster Shaped Coins, the design field showcases the reverse-proof visuals of the coin. A reverse-proof specimen has mirrored design elements over frosted background fields. As you set the guitar coin on its side, you will see a right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the left, with inscriptions down the neck of the guitar. A date mark and unique serial number between 0001 and 2500 also feature on this side.
These 2021 1 oz Solomon Islands Silver Fender Guitar Stratocaster Shaped Coins are available to you for purchase online with special packaging. Each coin is directly housed in a guitar-shaped capsule and set within a presentation box. The lid of the box identifies the brand and product line of the guitar, while the back of the box has a brief history of the company and the Stratocaster.
