Jake Paul has admitted he doesn’t have a backup option in case his fight against Mike Tyson fall through again, expressing his con. The YouTube star-turned-boxer Paul, 27, was due to fight Tyson, 58, in an exhibition this summer inside the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.
However, a medical emergency on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles later saw Tyson pull out of the fight, and be replaced by MMA star Mike Perry. Paul and Tyson will now throw down on Nov. 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Paul is not concerned about Tyson’s health heading into their matchup. “I don’t have concern,” Paul told TMZ. “He’s doing great. He’s super healthy behind the scenes and feeling great.”
The two boxers will meet in a pro matchup despite Paul being 30 years Tyson’s junior. “A pro fight means war and I don’t take it lightly,” Paul added. “You can get seriously hurt or injured in there. So, if you’re not in there to go to war, then you should just get out.”
Paul and Tyson met again at a press conference in New York a few weeks ago, and the former heavyweight King sent a fierce warning to his rival. “You better come in shape,” Tyson said. “Your health depends on it.”
Tyson also revealed he’s back in training to prepare for the fight. “I’m beautiful and I’ve been training,” he added. “I’ve been training for a while, two weeks or three weeks and I’m okay to fight… I’m in camp right now.”

Despite the obvious age difference, some aren’t counting Iron Mike out of the bout. UFC commentator and hit podcast host Joe Rogan says Tyson isn’t any ordinary 58-year-old.
During a recent Joe Rogan Experience podcast episode, Rogan discussed with actor Russell Crowe, he said: “He’s [Paul] a very good boxer. He trains hard. He can fight. 58 is 58, no matter what. But 58-year-old Mike Tyson is not 50-year-old Mike Jones who lives down the street. It’s a different kind of human being and he can still knock your ——- head into another dimension if he can catch you.”
“The thing is can he catch a 28-year-old guy who’s on the top of his career and winning legitimate boxing matches?” he added. “I mean, he’s beating former UFC world champions like Tyron Woodley. Jake had that very good fight with Tommy Fury who’s a legitimate boxer, that was a very good fight.
“And he just beat up Mike Perry who was a bare-knuckle champion, he’s a real fighter, he can fight and if Mike Tyson and him are fighting and Mike can’t catch him? Then it’s hard to tell.”
He continued: “If Mike Tyson and him are fighting and he can’t catch him and Mike has bad knees or his back’s bad… I mean, I don’t know what’s going on with him physically.”
